The pictures on the brochure were very nice but I liked it even better once I made them myself. The pictures shown are with the BEST KIT. I don't have any pictures on mine because I am waiting for my daughter to get married in September!

Easter Layout

I figured since Easter was almost here, I should scrapbook last Easter's pictures.These pictures were taken at Anderson Drive Baptist Church where my Mama, my sister and my family attend. My oldest daughter Ashley and her family drove from Brunswick so they could celebrate Jesus's Resurrection with us. It was wonderful! Even though they only live 35 to 40 minutes from us, I don't get to see her as much as I would like and miss spending time with her and my boys. Aren't they adorable?

This is also the layout that my monthly stamp club will be creating this Saturday. It features the Caboodle paper from the Spring catalog. To be honest, I wasn't real crazy about this paper when I first saw it but then it grew on me. Now I love it! I used CTMH's how-to book, Imagine to create this layout. The layout design is called "Dynamic Duo".

It's my Anniversary...

with Close To My Heart! Nine years ago today I took a leap of faith and signed up to become an Independent Consultant for Close To My Heart or D.O.T.S. as it was called then.

When I said I took a leap of faith, I meant it! I had never even picked up a stamp before and here I was signing up as a Consultant because I liked the examples they had in my Creating Keepsakes magazines. I have never regretted that decision.

This company is a top notch company and all the other consultants around the country helped me when I needed help learning a new technique or needed inspiration. I have watched it change from using wooden stamps to the AWESOME clear acrylic stamps we have now. Plus in the Spring, we will release Studio J to our customers. It just keeps getting better!
