Another Father's Day card

I forgot to post these pictures of the Father's Day Card I made for my future son-in-law, Mark. He plays guitar in a band so I thought this was fitting for the boys to give to him.

Till death do us part...accident

I spoke these words 12 years ago to my husband Tony in front of a Justice of the Peace. We were in Sevierville, TN on vacation and decided to "tie the knot" while we were up there. Gabrielle as only 2 years old at that time and we were in the middle of potty training her. She decided she had to "go" before the ceremony but I was so nervous that I ignored her. Needless to say I should have taken her because she let it go during the middle of the service. Ashley was so funny because she was standing there trying to rub it into the carpet so no one would see. LOL! Time has flown by since then!
I told Tony when I married him that it would be for forever...I was not going to get another divorce even if it meant I had to kill him. LOL! It's been close a couple of times.
Anyway, look what I woke up to this morning...ROSES with a cute card! Tony is always so considerate about getting a card for every occasion. I always wait until the last minute.

I made him a thoughtful handmade card. It was very simple but to the point. Of course I used Close To My Heart products to make it. This is what the front looks like.

And this is what the inside looks like. Quick, simple, to the point. That's me. Not a romantic bone left in my body. LOL!

Stamp sets: You're A Hoot and Doodle Alphabet
Desert Sand, Olive Ink and Cardstock.

It has been a nice anniversary. I hope we have many more.

Meanwhile I got Tony an early present. I dented the fender on my van! How? I was headed to Church to VBS when I whipped into my neighbor's house to check on their pool (they were out of town on vacation and asked us to keep an eye on it). I was rushed to get to Church so Gabrielle and I eat before we had to start teaching the music to the kiddos. I popped it into reverse and hit the gas while looking out my left side mirror and all of a sudden I heard a loud crunching sound and felt my head spring forward and back very quickly. I hit one of their trees while trying to back out. If I had looked in the rear view mirror I would have seen it. The bumper was actually bent up also but since it is plastic, Tony was able to bend it back in shape but I will need some bodywork done because of the paint chipping. At least he has done many more stupid things than this so he couldn't fuss too bad. Oh, and the trunk still works and lifts up like it is suppose to.
