I have spent the last couple of hours perusing the NEW Close To My Heart Autumn/Winter Idea Book online.. All I can say is OMG!!! I am in love with EVERYTHING!

I hope to have these in hand by next weekend for Stamp Club but you will not be able to order out of it until August 1st.

Okay, on to the news you really want to know about...YES, we have a new Cricut Cartridge. It's called Artiste. As before, this cartridge has over 700 images, it also comes with 3 coordinating stamp sets and 3 sheets of Dimensional Elements. It sells for $99.00 also.

So what else is new? First, we are changing the color palette. Downsizing really. We will be retiring 24 colors but before you get upset, we will also be introducing 6 new colors. (3 browns, 2 greys and 1 red).

I know I’m late posting these pictures from last night but I was just too pooped to do it last night. I take far too many pictures every year so I won’t post all of them. LOL!

Here is Cassidy holding my latest Great-Niece, Charlie Anna. She sure does love to hold the little ones. Later, she had Skylar in her lap during the fireworks.

We had a great time as usual. It’s nice to spend time with your family at the same spot every year.

Today, the girls and I spent some time on the beach. This was the 2nd time this week and I think I could really get used to that. Too bad I have to go back to work next week.

This is the only picture I have to document this since I forgot to take a picture on Tuesday. Tomorrow I will be spending the day with a friend shopping (or window shopping in my case). I can’t wait!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! I hope you are spending the day with your family. We plan to spend the day at the river and then go to Screven tonight to see the fireworks. Hopefully, I will have some decent pictures to post later.

Day 1 of "Staycation"

This is my second post for tonight so be sure and scroll down to see both.

So I decided to take this week off for vacation...but since we weren't going anywhere, it's actually a "staycation". The only thing I had planned for this week is to go to the beach once or twice this week, get some things done around the house and hopefully get some scrapbooking done.

I didn't intend to do yard work, that's for sure! But that's exactly what I ended up doing yesterday after a freak storm came through on Sunday night. It came through suddenly around 10 pm with winds stronger than I ever remember. Shortly after, the power went out. Then we heard a loud "thump". I knew immediately that it was probably part of a tree falling to the ground. Tony went outside to investigate and verified that it was part of a pine tree that had fallen but it had not fallen near the house.

Tony had just come back inside and got a "page" from the fire department about a possible tree down on the highway. When he walked outside to jump into his truck, he noticed that a small tree in the back yard had fallen on the house but it didn't look like it had broken anything. We wouldn't be able to tell for sure until the next morning.

Here you can see that it wasn't a very big tree.

It landed on top of the roof of the balcony and closet of my bedroom.

You can't really tell from this picture but there is a storage building on the other side of that tree. I am surprised it missed it.

No wonder the TV wouldn't work...

There was damage done after all.
