I told you earlier that Close To My Heart announced a new exclusive Cricut Cartridge at their annual convention. It's called Artbooking and will be $99.00.

"I Hope" mini album

For Gabrielle's Graduation present, I made her a mini album. It's called an "I Hope" album because every page tells something that I Hope for her future. I made one for Ashley when she graduated 10 years ago so I almost didn't make this for Gaby. You know....sibling rivalry and all. LOL! Anyway, I'm glad I did because when I gave it to her she told me she was hoping that I would make one for her also because she loved Ashley's so much. Yay!

Gaby is a very laid back teenager...doesn't get all decked out very often (except Prom) so I knew I wanted to keep it more on the simple side but I didn't want every page to match. I achieved that by using our Kraft cardstock on every page as the background. I also used a retired stampset that was from a special promotion several years ago on every page but each page used a different paper packet. This allowed me to use up some of my stash. I also used the same alphabet stamp set for the title on each page.

I took all the photos that I used for this album back in November for her Senior pictures. I am very pleased with how they turned out. There is 2 more pages that I have to finish to complete the album. Graduation kinda snuck up on me. LOL! I work best under pressure.
