September SOM Blog Hop - Limited Edition

Can you believe it's September already? I can't. Boy, is this year flying by or what? Before we know it, it will be Christmas!

Anyway, since it is a new month, it is time for the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. Every month a large group of talented CTMH Consultants create artwork using the current month's SOM. Thanksgiving Card: Project Inspiration Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea Book

I love our new Autumn/Winter Idea book! Did you notice that they posted links to directions to complete a couple of projects? How sweet is that? This is the link to the Thanksgiving Card on page 66. I will be posting the others in a couple of days. I hope you enjoy the video.

Create a multi-layered stamping imaging using the base and shade technique and Close To My Heart's My Acrylix® So Grateful stamp set. As you can see on this video, it's as easy as pumpkin pie—and will look great on your Thanksgiving dinner invitations and cards.

Mayberry WOTG completed with pictures!

We had Stamp Club today and here is the finished layout after I added the pictures. The scan of the layouts did not turn out very good because of the canvas buttons. I hate that. I may have to take another picture of it tomorrow with my camera during the daylight hours.

These pictures of Gabrielle were taken on Thanksgiving Day last year at my cousin's house. He is such a talented builder and had built his kids a fantastic tree-house years ago complete with a "zip line". Gabrielle was goofing off as she went down it.
